SOFTWARE ENGINEER · INDEPENDENT BUILDER

I build web products, 3D tools, and systems from scratch.

I'm Charis. I work across the product interface and the machinery underneath it, from browser-based tools to an x86_64 operating-system project.

Currently building: CharisOS, Odysseus, and tools for developer workflows.

SELECTED WORK

A few things I've built.

Different layers of the same curiosity: useful interfaces, interactive graphics, and the software below the surface.

A LITTLE CONTEXT

I like knowing what happens underneath.

I'm a software developer who moves between product interfaces and the systems beneath them. Some days that means shaping an AI workspace or a browser-based 3D tool. Other days it means working through boot code, memory maps, and the details a framework usually hides.

I care about clear architecture, understandable interactions, useful documentation, and reliable builds. I prefer shipping a small working slice, learning from it, and improving it over presenting a concept as if it were already finished.

My public work is the best record of what I'm learning and building now.

Make the trade-offs visible. Explain the choices that shape the result.

Keep the status honest. A prototype and a live product are different things.
